Free at Last / What Next?
Not to duplicate the Interscope thread...this is a discussion, from the viewpoint of Haliens, as to the process and prognostications of Haley's Adventure.
If we go back to the release of 'Free' and look at the comments by many of us at the time...It just didn't feel like a hit song. It's very ironic that it was the only song she did not have any creative influence over. Taken as a whole the album is excellent, but the featured single was not a standout hit. In spite of this, Haley seems to have impressed enough people in the industry to set herself up for many more opportunities in the near future.
Like others on this forum, I would love to see some of the other unreleased songs she previously recorded find the light of day with another label. I'm not sure how that will be accomplished, but Haley has her work cut out for her on the creative songwriting side...more excellent music, that usually works in the long run.
I'm still optimistic for her success, not just survival, in the entertainment world. She has a huge upside, as we all will faithfully attest to.

Oh dear!!! let the speculation begin...  I´ve been feeling bad about the news of Haley and Interscope splitting, but at the same time hoping that something good came out of it.
TBH the only late promotion or support Haley´s music was receiving was from Ole, and now it seems to be gainning some interest from outsiders, actually moving on the charts. If She keeps finding gigs like the one in Vegas and new and original ways of promotion She keeps her act relevant to be signed by an interested Record company more focused in her style and her potential. So i guess I´m in the optimistic side of the Halliens
