Allison was my favorite during season 8. AI. As a rock, blues singer she is the best. I know this will upset the people that want to see Haley progress towards rock. For me Haley is a bluesy, jazz singer & this is the niche where she excells. Both of these ladies are awesome & entertainment is not a competition...may both find success & happiness.

I actually agree with you. I love Haley, even when she does rock, but if I'm honest Allison and Elise's tones are more suitable for blues rock than Haley's.

Wow! Allison has grown "into" that voice of hers -- or something. I don't particularly like "rock" music, simply because it's rock. And I've long struggled to hear what others appreciate about Allison. There were a few examples when she was on AI that I liked (True Colors, her Slow Ride duet with Adam), but for the most part, I've struggled with a cognitive dissonance between her youth and the grittiness of her voice, a grittiness that didn't seem quite real to me.

I think the voice we hear in these youtube vids is the "real" Allison. Hopefully, from here, some good things may happen for her.
