Two Haley songs cleared to sing on American Idol

I also enjoyed last night's show. (I forgot to get a season pass and didn't get the one from the night before).

Like so many of you , I really enjoyed Kez Ban . I'm pretty sure she started life as a guy and who know's what is inside her pants at this point ... all of that is a bit weird for me certainly but living in San Francisco you do run into people who whehter it was nature or nuture or a combination, have sexual indentities not exactly tied to what is most common in nature. I focus more on what individuals do for their communities, and whther they are takers or givers to society in terms of holding jobs or volunteering etc. I also don't like to think too much about many performers sex lives (mick jagger is a wierd dude evidently .. or at least was)

That song Azure sky was incredible. Its really rare that I like a song so much -while- I listen to it the first time. I must have listened to it well over a dozen times last night (between tivo reverse button and you-tube snipped from idol)

From a bit more web search, she made comments elsewhere that it was primarily written by a friend named Nick Masarracha (sp?) but that she had made a fair bit of adaptations to it along the way. (which she might have elaborated on more on idol other than the definitive answer that she didn't right it alone). You can see him singing it on you-tube but he doesn't bring nearly as much to his song as Kez did.

It was off to Chicago for this episode of “American Idol,” the second of their audition shows. It was nice seeing Haley Reinhart, a Chicago native who was the contestant I pulled for in Season 10, but alas, was not the winner. (I enjoyed her CD considerably, though.)
