A "couple of tunes" is better than no tunes at all I say! At least she'll be getting more exposure. Is it my imagination, or does Haley seem a whole lot busier post Interscope?

Maybe since it's such a brief set for Haley, that's why John won't be there.

"Couple tunes" might just be a casual use of language. The event runs 4 hours and one of the sponsors/organizers just tweeted about Haley's "Angelic Voice" to tout it.

I'd feel better if John were there. I'm a little uncomfortable with Haley performing in public with someone she may not be familiar with.

I agree, John. I'd also say that working with a variety of accompanists is good for her as well. It's not that uncommon in the music world, to be working with different people frequently, and it keeps one "on one's toes" so to speak. That's not necessarily a bad thing.
