Wow, very impressive! That must have taken a long time! A nice touch with Haley at the 8th Hole with the Anthem. I'm really looking forward to that whole Labor Day Weekend experience! I'm a little nervous already about the show. Lots of prep and fine tuning...I pray all goes well. Thanks so much for making time to come out to the Traffic Jam show, glad you did. So glad Haley stopped in with mom and sis. It was electric in there! What a nice vibe and a nice time to remember. People left with smiles, that's for sure. See you at the car show, should be fun! Hi Harry,
So glad I was able to kick the 9 poker players out of my house by 11PM Saturday night in time to catch your second set at PS PUB with surprise guest Haley in attendance!!! I didn't get to talk to you much then but Patti & Haley & Angie made up for it as we all discussed the upcoming Labor Day weekend Shindig which will have dozens of Haliens from all over the country flying or driving in for the weekend Meet & Greet & performance at BG Palooza. A tentative plan is Sat. 8/31 a golf outing at Chevy Chase for Halien Golfers, mid-afternoon lunch at Bob Chinns, Main Stage entertainment by you-know-who and back to their motel for a night snooze. Sunday 9/1 Patti seems to think would be the best day to have the Reinhart's join us for my backyard/indoor home theatre/detention basin party at my place. It will be semi-invitation only since I'll give out my address by private message to those Haliens I know and trust plus many of your friends like drommomma (Elaine I think her real name is), Penny, the Johnsons, etc. I'm trying to keep the party down to 30 people but it may be difficult. I'll have Volleyball & croquet set up in the detention basin, mini golf and outdoor Haley DVD viewing in the mini Jumbotron (thats an oxymoron), or inside on my flat screen, and mid-afternoon grilling. We don't expect any Reinhart's to sing, just play games and chat with us. That night we all may make an excursion downtown to the Jazz festival or some other event in Chicago. Monday morning (getaway day) those still in the Wheeling area may meet for Brunch at Rise & Dine or some other Restaurant Row place. Hope it all works out and you guys can join us for the first annual Halien Convention!
