I definitely read her tweet to mean "sorry .. I'd jinx the song from coming through by talking about it" sort of thing like a coach won't talk about the game after the one they're about to play.

Still , the whole Mission impossible ...self-destructing lyric concept still has my mind racing.

Incidentally, they just put up "Just Love" up on BMI. From the information there, it seems like it was registered by one of the other songwriters (Sherry St. Germain, since hers is the only publisher listed).

I actually give it an over 50% chance of being an actual lyric.... despite how I first read it . Whether she wrote it as a poetic tweet or a poetic lyric it was poetic! If it wasn't a lyric maybe it will be now that she thought of it?!

Just a few lines but they sound good to me.

I posted that tweet in the "Haley's Tweet" thread.... I didn't read them as lyrics to a song at all....

I saw that as Haley's way of saying she hesitates posting lyrics or anything about the songs in case it leads to her songs being leaked, in which they would "melt away....Before I could use em".... Or people get her songs for 'free' without her getting compensated for writing/recording them....

You could be right, that she answered with lyrics, as requested, but I read it as Haley being 'cryptically' cautious knowing how many songs of hers have been leaked, and she's made no money from them (10 now?....an album's worth )

Seems she's waiting to complete her EP for leverage before she signs....how would that leverage be if the songs get leaked prematurely?

I just read them as the lyrics to one of her new songs. And what she's talking about (at least in that part of it) is the difficultly she had breaking up w/ the guy who the songs about. That's what I think they might be.

Her sharing lyrics has nothing to do with songs being leaked. She's tweeted lyrics before when it was requested. If they turn out not to be lyrics, I'll be very surprised.

That happened before the leaks occurred (sharing lyrics). I'm not saying it was because she shared the lyrics lead to the leaks.
I am saying that since the leaks occurred, she might be more wary about information about the new songs, so is hesitant in putting anything out specifically just in case....

You all might be right, they could be lyrics and like I said, maybe I'm projecting about my disappointment as to why LU so under performed (many of her 200,000 + followers not buying her album....we'd be singing another tune if LU sold 200,000 + albums....just sayin' )

I just don't see Haley wasting the time to come up with fake lyrics to try and trick her own fans, you know? If she didn't want to answer it, she could look over it. I think it's just coincidental that it could apply to the situation. Like someone mentioned earlier, I looked at it as a "I wanted to break up with you, but couldn't do it sooner because I couldn't find the words." Just my opinion, though. I'm sure we'll find out eventually.

After six weeks of treatment at Haley House, the shock therapy and getting my mind right, I sometimes get a little paranoid that I don't have a clue...like this ^ post. It must be the Buzz...do you hear it?
