An original:
Quote:In 2003 Gita Langley completed a BMus Honours degree studying the violin at The Royal Academy of Music in London.
She recorded violin on The Streets’ ‘Dry Your Eyes’ achieving No. 1 and also recorded violin on the track ‘Real Girl’ by Mutya, again, reaching the No.1 spot.
...Gita formed The Langley Sisters in 2009, writing material for their first release on ‘Velvet Blue Records’ which gained fantastic press and radio play – KCRW named one of their tracks ‘Today’s Top Tune’ and following that with an EP ‘Sirens’ and an album titled ‘Sing For My Supper’. The Sisters supported Paloma Faith and Jools Holland on tour.
...Most recently Gita has been writing with Rae and Christian, Bo Bruce, Norma Jean Martine, Ed Harcourt and Dimitri Tikovoi and has also co-written the opening credit music for the new HBO drama ‘Breaking Pointe’.
