I can see Charlie getting in on votes for his performance, but Aubrey was superior IMO

Really? I didn't think she was very good at all. I mean, significantly better than Charlie..and all the other guys..but I liked her other two performances a lot better.

Great to see what the top 3 was tonight. I'm really happy Angie is up there, as I was nervous about the Mass thing. Obviously a lot can change, but it's nice to see that there's only one guy who is breaking up the women. (And I don't think it'll last.)

So..Idol learned it's trick when it wants a female winner..get a clearly effeminate cast of men who don't play the guitar.

There's more to Aubrey than just her singing, in a Pia Toscano kinda way. Better than the other 5 girls? No, but I'd attend her shows. Charlie has a voice but thats about it.

Kaypea, I doubt that you are the only one still watching because of Candice, although TBH, I don't actually watch the show -- and never have... I need to be asleep by the time it comes on the West Coast.

But, I think that there are plenty in Candice's corner. It's just that I'm concerned about whether she can really keep getting better each week, given how high the standard she established from her audition. (But our Mercfan has noted that she has done better with each performance since Vegas "sudden death" performance, so, maybe Candice can do it. Hmmm -- I sort of like the alliteration and rhythm of that.) And, oddly, because Candice is not someone who would (or should) turn out a "pop" album, I'm not sure it's in her best interest to "win" Idol.

While Scotty has been successful, it's because he's (to paraphrase Marie Osmond's line in the song with her brother) "completely country" and there seems to be a large audience for that. Currently, P squared also seems to be doing well, but audiences can be quite fickle, and they could change soon.

If a girl doesn't win it's because of the audience reacting against the blatant manipulation, which has been dialed up to 11 this season.

1. Angie Miller (I can't chose between the two..I didn't LOVE either, but both were very good.)
3. Janelle (look who wants to join the girls party...)

I see bottom 2 being Paul and Amber (it's not deserved, but I think Burnell and Devin did a good job and were praised, and Lazaro will get sympathy votes. Granted, Burnell could end up in the bottom 2. )

Watching over at Mjs, Haven't seen Candice's, but IMO Amber did the best with the riskiest song choice. I thought she had the best cover of the night,and liked some of the choices she made that made it just a little more her own.

I've been wanting to root for Kree, but she's not compelling enough, nor Angela or Candice, for me. Amber's performance tonight makes me think I could like her above the rest.
