Good lord....Casey looks like he's lost a LOT of weight!
Hope everything is going well, health wise, and he's just growing into his adult body.

You know, there have been a lot of comments here on Casey's weight throughout the past year/year and a half (ironically, usually from men). I really don't think that Casey's weight is as up and down as the comments might indicate. If you'll notice, Casey's seems to love wearing (besides the hideous plaid shorts) multiple layers of bulky clothing (i.e. a heavy sweatshirt with a bulky sweater over that), all of which produce a look that maybe he's heavier than the thin frame under the t-shirt.

Perhaps, his weight is as "yo-yo syndrome" as some of you seem to think, but I'm dubious.

I have a feeling Candice is dominating the voting. I could be completely wrong. But she's getting terrible performance slots. TPTB only do that for two reasons. First reason is to try to get rid of someone. (Much more effective than having the judges bash said contestant. See DeAndre, and actually I think when Jessica was eliminated they knew her votes were lower than they wanted, so they had her go second knowing she'd at least be in the bottom 3.) Or, they do it because they know, no matter what..that person isn't going to get eliminated.

I think Candice is loved universally by the judges, the producers, 19, and Jimmy. Meaning this is similar to the Scotty situation. Where, they know they can put her anywhere in the lineup, and she's going to make it through.

That being said, I honestly think Janelle is going to win.

Why Janelle? I don't see her as having the same appeal-or abilities,for that matter that say Lauren -or Scotty from S10 had.

She's an adorable blonde country girl with a guitar.

Granted, I'm not completely sure the same base is voting. Nicki might have scared them off. #hopefully

Right about now, if I were Lazaro, I'd feel like crap. It's one thing to try and fail. Quite another thing to appear to not even give a damn, in fact, to act cocky about it.

To me, it looks like he is quite comfortable in accepting the 'pity card'. He has to know that about now, even if the others don't say so, he is very unliked. Especially, with that attitude, while others are watching their dreams disintegrate.

Devin's time was probably up soon anyway, but he was the 'professional' in that group song that fell flat by trying to cover for Lazaro when he missed his line (among other things). And for Lazaro to go to his "I didn't know the song" AGAIN....? For him to not take some responsibility, to me, shows his true colours. That he is not this unfortunate, brave guy, overcoming adversity. That, in fact, he's a, I don't give an Eff about anyone else, Pr!ck

(The above comment is based on the performance night. I haven't seen what occurred elimination night, yet. Just woke up, here in Paris, and only following along on the vids at MJs ....Did lazaro at least do a 'Mea Culpa'? )

Lazaro?? Take responsibility for what he's done? Have we seen any indication in Lazaro in the past weeks that would suggest that he's capable of what you suggested?

Sorry -- I tend to have a cynical nature to begin with when it comes to those who demonstrate certain characteristics that we've witnessed in Lazaro (and I'm not referring to his stuttering) and I'm not, at all, sympathetic to them -- with, or without a speech impediment. If he had done a 'mea culpa' last week, I'd be in a forgiving mood. That he has yet to do so, and from the accounts I've seen, is coming across as rather cocky, I'm hopeful that Lazaro will receive his just desserts this coming weeks. Neither Paul nor Devin (especially Devin) deserved to be voted out before Lazaro.

I've seen comments (elsewhere) that Lazaro could/should be singing on a cruise ship. Wow -- that wouldn't say much for that cruise, would it?

Lazaro's a cutie, and, under normal circumstances, probably a nice guy. When he's comfortable with a song, he can sing serviceably well (but if I want serviceable singing, I'll sing to myself!). However, thanks to a variety of well meaning and/or misguided voting tactics, he's now in so far over his head on AI that he can't possibly keep up with the rest of them, but because of "something" (I'm not certain what that "something" is), the impression is that he really seems to think that he belongs in competition. There's a disconnect, there --eh?

Also, I know Amber is good. And she's got everything you could want in a winner. But I honestly just don't like her tone.

I supported Lazaro a week ago. I thought they were trying to throw him under the bus. And he seemed like a sweet guy who just had a problem. This week, I agree with Tusk, he showed his true colors. The funny thing is, I ended up becoming a fan of Devin. (The sass, and the fact that he was the professional during it.)

I think Nikki was really turned off by Devin "throwing the other two under the bus" but he honestly had a right too.

Given comments that I'm seeing on Slezak's TVLine and a little from MJ's blog, those who are looking at a variety of sources (although interpreting those "variety of sources" may not be accurate and none of it is "scientific"), I'm hearing/seeing that Angie is the highest "vote getter." Again, that's what I've read from these sights. I haven't "conducted" my own research, because of a variety of reasons which start with: a) I don't have the time; and b.) I don't have the interest.

It seems to me that, given the tweets copied, it's Nikki who's been, both unprofessional (which is no surprise to me) and thrown someone under the bus, in this case Devin, who did: a) everything to try to save that disastrous "trio" performance when Lazaro -- once again -- failed to do what he was supposed to do, and Burnell was less than stellar; and b.) sent out that series of tweets (that seem unwarranted).

Devin's tweet seems justified to me.

I was talking about one of the reasons she didn't want to save him. But apparently she just doesn't think a guy is worth saving. (she's not wrong..)

My guess is they put Amber about second in hopes that she's the one eliminated next week so they can use the save.
