We could have another Pia happening.

If people are still voting for him at this late date out of sympathy then hopefully if they really care about him they'll let him go and not vote for him because at this point he's become an embarassment for himself-and everyone else,including the judges and the other contestants and the show itself.

Its not the same situation as with Pia but if a girl is eliminated tonight I can see the same kind of reaction as when Pia was eliminated.

The save had already been used (for Casey) when Pia was eliminated. The save has yet to be used this year.

It is my belief that if an audience connects with the song and singer the longest standing ovations follow that performance... Candice connected with audience BIG TIME tonight!!

She certainly did connect!! Wow -- although both performances were superb, that second one was mind blowing! And while the first standing O by the judges may have been instructed by TPTB (and I don't think it was), the second time they got on their feet was spontaneous. Holy moly (she said, while shaking her head)!!

Finally! Lazaro seems like a nice enough guy, and he got to experience something very special by being on this show. I'm sure he will have memories for a lifetime. (and he still has the tour), but it was waaaaaaaaayyyy past his time.
