I having only been watching AI since season 5 and this is the first time I am happy with the top 2. Now I have to pray that Candice can overcome the strong country fan base. Kree is a sweetheart but Candice is my pick this season...

Not me. I guess it's appropriate that the girl that had Haley Reinhart's sister's first name and Haley Reinhart's mother's maiden name would bow out at #3 to the southern voting block. Oh Well. I might buy a Candice album, I won't but a Kree Album but I'll definately buy an Angie Miller Album.

I thought you were actually going to call the winner this time, Himm2 (I like your logic ), but the force is strong in the South. They will never forget the last time someone 'not from the South' won Idol.... Can we say they are DeWyser for it?

Tusk, perhaps you are correct that it's about the strength of the South's voting tendencies, but for the first time in many AI years, probably the two most talented are in the final. (Which is not to discredit Angie's talent, but Angie has had the benefit of musical training that neither Candice nor Kree had.)

Can't you recognize that?

I like Angie, and I thought she performed better than Kree for the past few weeks. I would have been happy for her if she had gotten into the finale. And the Candice/Angie finale is actually the one I wanted.

But..Kree is a better singer. I don't think that's ever happened. And that makes me happy.
