The Ad would be tied to one of the more popular pro athletes up here, so she will get a lot of exposure among Mariner fans (in Alaska, Idaho, Utah and Oregon as well).....

Congratulations on the step closer. It's hard to know whether the "it's a fun song" remark is just something nice to say in closing, or whether it might mean interest in pursuing rights to use it.

Two points, 1) He mentioned that they pulled it from the service, in other words it's going to be considered and 2) I take it as a positive remark that is specific to the song as opposed to say ..."Free " or "Spiderweb". OM IS a fun song and so much more marketable than the rest.

All I ask is one step at a time. If the step works, then we go to the next one. I know it's still a long shot but I admit to being pleased about the progress so far.

Another indication it's not just a 'thank you for your suggestion' form letter is the subject line for the email: Oh MY

It wasn't from the same email address as the other "we have received your suggestion" emails, so when I saw his name, it was Greg, along with the words "Oh My"

I assumed the email was from California Haliens, Greg and Mona (who took those beautiful high res pics)....

To my surprise it was a letter from the Mariners

So all those things seem to indicate that they will actually consider it.

Judging from the correspondence so far, it seems they will probably get back to me whatever the decision is.
