BMI POP Music Awards 5-13-14 (split from HITW)

I was trying to think if Haley had met Stevie before, and remembered that Stevie had been a mentor on the show the year after Haley's season. I can't believe I forgot Sheryl was a mentor during Top 5 week... Wow!! I don't think I'm old enough blame this on "having a senior moment".

I just left PS Pub where Midnight played tonite and Patti gave me some fun info about Haley at the BMI Awards regarding Stevie Nicks. BMI was the first time Haley & Stevie met. Stevie was at the American Idol rehearsals the day that Haley sang Rhiannon but had to leave to be at Dancing With The Stars that same night. She wanted to meet Haley then but it didn't happen. So one of the people that was with Stevie Nicks at BMI saw that Haley had noticed Stevie and brought her over to meet Haley. Haley told Patti that Stevie shook Haley's hand just like grandma used to do...stroking it instead of a shake. Stevie said she remembered Haley performing Rhiannon and wanted to meet Haley then and was glad they finally got to meet!

That is so cool. I had a feeling she might've gotten to meet her, cause there's the pic of Haley w/ Sheryl, who we know likes Haley quite a bit, & Stevie & Sheryl are tight. I wonder what she said to her. You know, I wish Haley would tweet us stuff like this. I mean it doesn't have to be the whole story, but I think she posted "It was an enlightening evening" or something on instagram. No mention of meeting Stevie Nicks or seeing Sheryl Crow again. I think that'd be interesting to a lot of her fans.
