Can we just reflect on Caley from this show? So cool they didn't do HTRJ, Moanin' or All My Lovin'
They did new songs (Including Casey in her debut of "My Cake" )

Tusk, thanks for merging the four Caley performances and other edits. It's like listening to a mini-Caley concert! And while the order may be the order in which the songs were performed, kicking off with Island in the Sun and ending with the Flintstones theme song jam, really works well.

I know what I'll be listening to most, if not all day!

I was just considering posting this thread while driving home
.... and then I check in and see you guys had your mind's drifiting on about the Citywalk peformances too!

I've been reallly really enjoying listening to 5 performances from the Citywalk concert. (still don't really enjoy islands but I don't need to like them all.. just need to love a few a lot). I've drawn from Midnight's, Yanni's(slays) and yours for the audios I ended up in my "collection" (I paid via the Amazon tip jar a month ago but I suppose I owe another installment including an album or two size one to Casey too)

Given all the good time you guys were having in Las Vegas I didn't want to critique or compare.. and as I've seen (again from the varied locations/sounds on the vegas tapes) sometimes there is more there than can be heard on a recording with the wrong audio interference in picking up important brush's and note attacks etc.

And.. that wasn't the point anyway.

The Real Point I just feel like saying out-loud again, is how incredible a musician Casey is, and how he lifts Haley to yet a higher level when she Sings with him. His presence seems to bring out more in the musicians around him (which, really is nothing surprising... that is how it works, to one degree or another).

I can't get enough of this vid since I posted it . I love Haley's ability to harmonise and her buttery smooth tone is a perfect complement to the rougher, and more manic tone of Casey's

There are parts of IITS and TMSG where her melody and harmonizing is heavenly

There is a quality, an energy in the LA debut of "My Cake" (Love her scat at the end of the song) that is unmatched in any of her Vegas performances of the song IMO, I think it comes from the preternatural chemistry between Haley and Casey, I love watching the fun when they are on the stage together,
