The RAP Combo

It's not alliterative, but works -- and makes people think a bit. Good idea!

I meant to include this in my earlier post about this: merely thinking about what RAP could produce musically gives me chills. I can't imagine what the "real thing" might do.

lol I should've known that would end up on here. A little back story: What Bluesman didn't tell you is that we actually spoke to Keith while we were at City Walk. Before we hung up, he told me to tell Haley he said 'hi' because they hadn't spoken in a while. Bummer? I know, right? I told Haley what he said right before she left and she gave me a message to deliver back. Had me feeling like Hedwig and what not. Anyway, I relayed the message and told him not only what she said, but that she missed him on keys (she didn't say that, but it was clear) and that he'd go to town on "My Cake". Should've known he'd already listened to it. Fast forward to this past weekend, they performed "My Cake" and he went to town.


The trio idea was born somewhat out of a challenge because I told him that Casey had the best chemistry with her musically (in so many words) and he's obviously a little biased, but said he'd give me that. And The RAP Combo is perfect.

Their convo started after Miguel tweeted Pat's video, with the clear audio so you could really hear Keith put the funk into the song @1:50
