What is your favorite Live Haley performance?

What a good thread, this could go on many pages as she has had a ton of stunning performances. I agree with all that have been mentioned.

Her national TV performance of Rolling in the Deep stands out as my pick for this thread.

She took on a number one song from ADELE and spanked it hard. Before the performance a studio producer told the audience she is bad-ass. Jimmy said this song would show the public she really has it. She walked past the judges, stood right in front of the audience and wailed. I have heard that performance a hundred times as well as the youtube comparative duet and the verdict is clear. She not only sang it beautifully and with power, she had time during a difficult pass to inject some jazzy high notes.

It moved me to write to Iovine that he had better not let that bombshell in the red polka-dot dress get away. There could be no meaningful judges comments on that masterpiece.

PS my favorite photo is the one in the front seat of that vintage car!

This one will always be meaningful because of it's symbolism of her infinite possibilities, where it began.

Truthfully, so many highlights of live performances because she was made for the live stage. I thought about the RITD performance, her performance of Tightrope on tour that I've posted several times, but....

I am so ready for Haley to take the next step, REAL label support, REAL career strategy,and REAL tour possibilities. The BGDays performance are now representative, to me, of the potential/possibilities of that next stage.

(and I have posted several times about patiently awaiting Rock Haley to perform, and WIAWSNB was the payoff for that patience )

Love RITD. I was just viewing through some repad versions of the AI performances a couple nights ago. I always watch RITD at least once when I do that. I hadn't heard the song before and Haley blew me away with her performance.

As for % credit...I think you are too generous with the .1% for the judges, Himm. Even Steven tempered his enthusiasm with the canned "started out slow" remark, which he wouldn't say on Beautiful (so the company man Randy whipped it out, creating another wtf is he talking about moment). But I will give Haley 5 bonus points for the HOTRS stare at the end of the song. And 10 bonus points because Jim Joslin called her a badass.

Great thread! My favorite performance is still Moanin on AI. It literally got me out of my seat pointing at the tv screen and telling Randy and J Lo to "take that"! Can't tell you how excited and in awe I was. Bless her little jazzy soul
