I guess my interpretation is different from others. From the BMI interview..it seemed like she hadn't been invited yet.

I will say, I think a lot of Idol alumni aren't crazy about 19, even if they do appreciate what Idol gave them. So I can see a "I just want to be as far away from those people as possible" attitude. Which is funny, considering she'd smile and take a picture with Randy.

I don't know... Yes, I can see that many have no reason to be thrilled about 19, but 19 (management) and the AI finale aren't the same thing.

But AI has a different vibe to it now. Under new management (Uncle PB), the band has changed and much of the behind the scenes staff (wardrobe, make up, hair, etc.) seem to have left as well, so many of the people Haley would have been able -- and might have wanted -- to reconnect with are gone. Two thirds of those who are there (Randy, J-Lo), she might prefer to avoid.

She was (is) going to be spending the day working on her new video, because her life has some forward motion to it. I can see why she might, initially, have thought of opting out, and just going to the "after party."

Bottom line is AI and 19 mgt were stepping stones that got the ball rolling for Haley.That was then and this is now.IMO I believe Haley wants to focus on whats to come.sometimes letting go of the past isn't that easy. But there a great reward for her waiting , so far she has done a awesome job with what has bin dealt to her. Just a thought

WOOHOO! Finally. Something for everyone to be excited about! If what Haley said on her Indiegogo is true, this should mean that we'll be receiving the digital download sometime this week! Because she said she wants us to be able to hear it before the video is filmed. I'm hoping it's SOOOOOONNNNNNN
