I really wanted to do this sooner...but I just couldn't muster the inspiration, energy and focus for it

That's a main reason I couldn't get into art as a living, I'm not 'on call' and rely on inspiration to guide me where I want to go

I'm tempted to post a 15 second clip of Haley Hula Hooping for the video, but that might be the highlight of the whole thing, so better to wait for Haley's approval and release the whole thing... I might consider posting Casey and the GBB practicing their choreography, though...

Actually, one section that might get cut is Jacob and Casey attempting to Hula Hoop in one hoop.... before attempting it, Jacob (jokingly?) tells everyone to put their cameras away.

I doubt Jacob cares, but it's best to get his OK to be sure

Jacob is a sweetie, and probably always wants to present himself in the best light. Among friends, I suspect he's likely to get really silly (hence, he and Casey attempt hula hooping in one hoop), but it's very possible he doesn't want to share that with everyone.

I considered that, but what I cut out needed to be cut out for the most part... some minor swearing exclamations, wardrobe adjusting between scenes, multiple cuts of Haley doing several takes (for brevity, I posted the best ones), alot of waiting around for someone to yell 'action'

There's probably 20 minutes more of Casey and the GBB performing, but there's alot of howling wind and some of the 'jamming' was not 'great'... Quinton seemed to lose his way on some of it

Since it's mostly Roy's video, Roy had a tripod (steadier) and MUCH more (continuous) footage than I did, there's a lot of video of his daughter Hula Hooping, I used the ones that contributed to the 'story'

(my actual video is better resolution/color Roy's video, for some reason, had a blue cast on it, I had to do some color correcting to make the colours more 'desert like' ) You can see the difference when the few clips that are mine made it into the video.

The best 'candid' thing about that day's shoot were the pics and Instagram pics that came from the shoot, more than the video we captured (we didn't have access to everything and multiple things being shot at the same time).... I wanted to use some of the Instagrams/Pics within the video, but since it's a VIDEO, the pics were secondary, so I didn't get to use many

My Idea is to post some of the Instagrams to go along w/ the ending credits... like a pic of Dannig and Avi when their name comes up in the credits

Well, that's what I get for making a long video, if you don't have much time...

Partly my fault for waiting too long to get it done, I'm a procrastinator of historical proportions, Hopefully I'll be able to get Haley's feedback when she has the time, if there's anything she'd want changed...

Harry's feedback:

Great job on the 'behind the scenes'...I forgot to mention, we saw the first half and then something came up. We'll catch the rest this weekend. Very cool. Clean as a whistle too. It gives great insight as to what a day is like for a video shoot. I like the more 'innocent' shots of little Hanna and Haley hula-hooping and of course the jamming. I'm pretty sure Haley saw it and liked it. Don't know if she saw it in it's entirety, but we'll have to ask if there's anything she'd want edited
