RE: The Seattle SeaTusks & DenNUG Broncos!
Fireworks outside here too, the parade will be INSANE
Quote:Tim Booth @ByTimBooth 7m
City of Seattle announces #Seahawks parade will be Wednesday from 11-1:30 and end at the CLink
An estimated 30,000 people gathered to send the Seahawks off to the superbowl.... I'm guessing the parade will probably be in the 200,000 +
Oh, BTW, I think Russell Wilson just broke the record for most wins in his first two years, furthermore....

Russell Wilson makes history as the second Black quarter back to win a Super Bowl #BlackHistory #History #TeachTheBabies
In case you're wondering, Doug Williams of the Redskins in 1988, was the first
Hope someone tweet's Harry w/ the hat

RE: The Seattle SeaTusks & DenNUG Broncos!
It was countered by what might be one of the top all time defences, not hyperbole, stats bear it out, and they just smothered THE historically proficient all time offence quarterbacked by possibly THE greatest NFL quarterback...
The top five defences were in the NFC this year, the Broncos faced average to below average defences in the AFC, 4 of the top defences are in Seattle's division
Peyton was good, but he's just one guy, the rest of that offence was average at best, Peyton elevated their production

Do you think you'll go to the parade or some part of the festivities?

Peyton will likely have to shoulder the burden of blame in this loss. As you said, (during the regular season) he elevated their production -- but he couldn't do that last night.

RE: The Seattle SeaTusks & DenNUG Broncos!
Congratulations SeaHaliens...the long and winding road was painful at times, but in the end, what a glorious victory! My condolences to all the Bronco fans. I feel your pain, as a Vikings fan, but at least you have 2 Super Bowl wins to go with the excruciating 5 losses.
What a dominating performance by the Seahawks, and such a young team. It will be interesting to see how it plays out financially when trying to keep this team together. Paul Allen should have enough money to keep them together for a few more years, hopefully.
Is it just me, or has Bill Gates morphed into Woody Allen?

Much as I enjoyed watching this team rise the last three years, my days of fighting Seattle traffic (Progressively worse each year), paying exorbitant parking fees and mass throngs have long past. Been there, done that.
I had the opportunity to play varsity football all four years of high school, I loved playing the game, I love watching the game.... the thing that I like least, is the excessive alcohol and license to be over the top belligerent of many football fans. The sport encourages aggression and alcohol, having grown up in a household that suffered those two things, I have little patience for that kind of behavior.
Mobs have no brain and can get out of control even in the best of celebrations (luckily the fire burnings around Seattle was held to a minimum), so I think I'll enjoy the Team's celebration from home
