New Haley song "Listen" in Showtime promo

I don't think it's for her album, the 'Listening yet' quip was a play on the follow up to LU:

"Listen Up!"
"Are You Listening Yet?"

I think Haley's putting her eggs in separate baskets, diversifying herself, maximizing her opportunities, which is extremely smart

My mom was telling me tonight about a neighbor's granddaughter, who is about 19 or 20, a singer/song writer, guitar player, tried out for the Voice twice (didn't make it), and just moved out to LA in January to "make her mark" in the music business. Listening to the story, all I could think about was Haley, and all she's been through. So much to learn, so many musicians out there trying to make it big. And this girl doesn't have the exposure Haley had. But it would be an adventure.

I can't wait to hear the new song! I wish we could have heard a little more of it in the promo. This is some good exposure for Haley, I'm hoping good things come from it.

I'm with you on the diversifying. I was thinking in terms of inertia, if "Listen," by chance, is the theme song for the series and played ubiquitously, thus becoming popular as theme songs do from time to time in movies, perhaps it could become the catalyst song for her next album. The promoter if you will, that gets the album out there. What a money savor that could be without a label; are as she said after "I'm Your Baby Tonight" "ya got to go with the flow." That was my day dream, but I'm such a silly boy....."Listen" synergizes so well with "Are You Listening Yet," just made in heaven hehe.

One of them has a song by someone else that sounds a bit like it could be a theme song, the words are "I feel the life of danger / in this beautiful world", which suits the title of the series, "Years of living dangerously".

Still hoping "Listen" will be a regular feature ... that would be fantastic!

So many hopes for break throughs, two songs on ESPN, a cameo on 90210, on national TV with Slash & Miles, bumper music in every corporate retail establishment across the land, "Free" sung for 15 million people on Idol, (should have been "Undone.") Now Show Time: wait maybe she is kind of out there. We hope for big things but lets give her credit, she is working it, as Swan would say Haley, Haley all the Wayley
