In the last couple years, I've been contacted by several fans that fake Haley and Casey accounts have contacted them via Facebook or Instagram. Most have been seemingly innocent contact, one fan said this fake Casey account on FB carried on a conversation over weeks w/ her husband until she decided to check w/ me what I thought.

On the Other Hand, they may ask for money, someone contacted me on my channel with this...

has a fake haley profile, trying to extort money from fans in instagram, I'm not from the USA. how to report the police Could you report it? You are fan?

Bottom line, it might be exciting to think you're getting a personal message from either Haley or Casey, but don't stop there, think context, look at the account, look at their posts, do they 'sound' like Haley or Casey? Do they have the "Verified" symbol?

I’ll never forget my Dad handing me his CD of Nirvana’s classic album, Nevermind... They became my favorite band, next to The Beatles & the sounds of the 60’s. I was obsessed, still am. I’d play em loud til I fell asleep on my bedroom floor. So much angst and raw emotion in every grungy tune. The heavier the sound, the lighter I felt. Growing up in Chi, I had a big ol’ Kurt poster on my wall & I used to talk to him sometimes for inspiration, hah! Always felt deeply connected to him in the sense that we both had a lot to get out of our systems... Heck we all do, don’t we?! They didn’t play it safe & you could hear their many influences from Bowie to 50’s Doo-wop. I own the box set, his “journal,” and all their records. Crazy to think how much Kurt, Dave, and Krist have all inspired me throughout my childhood and now. They take me to nirvana with every listen.
