Hey there Haliens! Special thanks to the folks shooting video, posting them and/or finding them for the Room 5 show to share on this page.

I have to say Haley was really, really on her game that night, sounding great, and one song in particular, a new one for her I think, “Sitting on the Dock of the Bay” gave me chills…wow. She just takes classic songs in her own amazing direction, so easily, and casts her spell on them. The joy on her face performing that night is so apparent, and I think that performing with other talented musicians like Casey, Mark and Dylan really pushes her. Hopefully they are thinking of doing something further, maybe more shows or even some recordings. But, in the end, it was just great seeing Haley singing again for a live audience…having fun, being the Slayer again…..it has been too long!

I want to profoundly thank Rachel, yanni, midnightblues, Jair Fuentes and others for the posted and upcoming videos and pics. Absolutely amazing! It seems every time these Haley events happen they just get better and better which I think shows how Haley is growing as a performer within herself and also as an entertainer with other artists. If there was any concern about Haley’s stage presence before, there shouldn’t be any now. Haley was really moving and grooving to the music especially outside the venue. How great it must have been to see back to back concerts.

Haley’s repertoire is astonishing. I just have to shake my head; to go from “Gee, Baby, Ain’t I Good to You” to “Rock Your Body”. I think Haley can come up with a phrase from a lyric to fit every occasion as she has shown to do. From what I’ve heard so far of “Show Me Your Moves” with its beat and Haley’s soulful flavor it can be added to my list of favorites. I can’t wait for the full download. Casey’s swinging “Dry Spell” is one of my favorites and I love the above video.

It sure is nice that Haliens want to share their Haley and Casey experiences. Being able to watch Haley and Casey and Keith as a bonus is pure joy. I only knew Mark Ballas as a great dancer, watched the season he won with Kristi Yamaguchi, but he is a very good musician along with Dylan Chambers. They all have so much fun together. There are so many fantastic videos; it would be nice if one took off as did for Lake Street Dive.

My only regret in seeing what a great show that Haley puts on with all her LA associates is the realization that she is now firmly entrenched in the entertainment capital of the world and we Chicagoans will see less and less of her locally. But at least we have a crew of devoted Haliens that are willing to share their great live experiences with us non-Californians. Thanks so much to the Halien team!!

Season 10's dynamic duo of Haley Reinhart and Casey Abrams teased fans at a recent L.A. show with a demand that they "Show Me Your Moves" — before moving the party into the street for an all-out jam with Dancing with the Stars' Mark Ballas.

Reinhart, who told the crowd at the Room 5 Lounge Wednesday night that Abrams has a surprise cameo in her forthcoming crowd-sourced video for "Show Me Your Moves," was performing alongside her friend when a fan requested the two play the song. Without missing a beat, Abrams started slapping out the notes on his upright bass and Reinhart broke into a few bars of the funky, fun tune.
After the show, in what is becoming a sort of Room 5 tradition every time Abrams and Reinhart perform there, both musicians took to the sidewalk with a few guest stars who were also on the bill that night- DWTS ballroom dancer/BMG artist Ballas, singer/songwriters Dylan Chambers and BC Jean (who penned the song "If I Were A Boy," recorded by Beyonce) -- to perform Ray Charles' "Hit the Road Jack."
