There is a petition linked on the Room FB page to save Room 5. I signed and wrote a little something. I also tweeted it out. If everyone tweets it and shares it-the new owners may consider it. Couldn't hurt to try. What a shame if this great little venue closes.

DANG that place was so laid back, kinda like the under ground coffee houses in the 60s . Wonder if they will close the restaurant also. I say resurrect room 5 and up date the sound system.

My guess is the restaurant has changed hands and they people that run Room 5 don't know what their new landlord's plans are. Or maybe they do.

There's been talk that Patti Reinhart is out in LA with Haley! It will be interesting to see if she shows up at Room 5 with her daughter. What fun for the LA Haliens to meet her, especially after the videos and stuff that's been posted here.

Maybe she'll sing a song with Haley!!! I'm excited to see what happens tonight.
