Irvin commented on the venue regarding the quality of the sound. He pointed out to the audience his sound guy, and told us that his guy told him after the sound check that the sound is very good. Irvin said, they play all over the country, in many different venues, and his sound guy has never told him that before. Said whatever this place is doing, keep doing it.

I googled the venue earlier and it sounds like they put a lot of work into the acoustics and things like dampening the sound of the air circulation.

Thanks so much Yanni for not listening to the video Nazis, and recording "Come Rain or Come Shine" Haley's voice was beautiful! I like how Irvin turns and nods his approval in the middle of the song too!

Hey-great video.Sound is excellent and Haley is in fine form.Its always fun seeing Irwin's reactions to her and you were able to capture those up close -as well as the unique vantage point of the tuba in the backround..

I recorded Haley in stealth mode, holding the camera close to my chest. Audio sounds ok. Having to hold the camera so low, got the back of peoples heads in the vid, had to zoom in on Haley's face to try eliminate some of the crowd. Not the best vid, but I'll upload it if you guys want to see it. At least the audio is ok.

You did a fine job. It was like watching Haley on the big screen.

Great stealth work, Agent Yanni. You did well in your infiltration assignment. From your description of your filming method I was expecting a video of much lesser quality but you came through with a stellar bit of reconnaissance.

It is so fun to watch Haley grow as a singer. This is exactly why it is never a good thing to become an overnight sensation, and, rather, develop over time and in varied situations. Haley's song interpretations are becoming ever more natural and expressive. This was a terrific performance and I totally agree with Irvin's facial expressions halfway through. I just wish Haley had done a bit more scatting. When she did that little scat bridge my mind wanted her to go on some more.

I'm harboring in my heart the possibility that Haley and Irvin with someday make an album together. I'd bet that they have at least tossed the idea around. Logistics and timeframes and other projects all have to be worked through. One day I think it will happen.

Thanks Yanni for not listening. You’re too modest. I don’t know how you did it under the circumstances. Your video is great and very nice audio pick up of both Haley and the orchestra. I love the close-ups on Haley and Irvin Mayfield. Your stealth recording provided the perfect vantage point framing both Irvin Mayfield and Haley so we can clearly see their facial expressions. Haley not only sings but communicates the song and to see Irvin Mayfield’s admiration for Haley’s artistry in the background as she performs is truly priceless. Totally agree Swansteel, when Haley does record a jazz album sometime in the future we know the best group of musicians to include.
