Mayré Andrea de los Ángeles Martínez Blanco (Born November 28, 1978 in Caracas, Venezuela), is a Latin pop singer,[1] songwriter. She rose to popularity in Latin America after winning the first season of the reality show Latin American Idol.

Mayre has both a phenomenal talent and an amazing work ethic – since winning Latin American Idol, she’s gone on to release 3 albums, toured extensively with her own band, and launch her own singing academy, recognized as the best in her native Venezuela. When I approached her about being the first Postmodern Jukebox singer to cover a popular Spanish song, she came up with the idea to do a PMJ tribute to Selena, the iconic singer credited with introducing Tejano music to a mainstream audience. Our version of “Como La Flor” blends the well-known melody with the classic string-driven sounds of 1960s country and soul for an altogether new sound. Scott Bradlee has bought the Encino home of TV producer Jerry Kupcinet for $2.775 million.

Musician and arranger Scott Bradlee, known for his swingin’ YouTube channel and band Postmodern Jukebox, has bought a home in Encino for $2.775 million. The seller was Jerry Kupcinet, the Emmy-winning director and producer whose credits include “Judge Judy” and “Judge Joe Brown.

Sitting on about half an acre in tony Amestoy Estates, the French country-style home conjures the spirit of a bygone era with elaborate molding, paneled walls and wood ceiling tiles.

Among the elegantly appointed rooms is a two-story great room with a fireplace and a retractable movie screen. The library/den has a speakeasy-style wet bar, and the formal dining seats as many as 18 people. A total of six bedrooms and six bathrooms is included in more than 6,500 square feet of space.

French doors extend the living space outdoors, where a brick patio surrounds a swimming pool and spa. A built-in barbecue station, lawns and mature trees fill out the grounds.

The property came up for sale in March for $3.195 million and was listed at $2.995 million prior to the sale. Kupcinet paid $1.895 million for the house in 2004, public records show.

Janine Gershon of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage and Tory Herald of Sotheby’s International Realty were the listing agents. Christine Kim of Keller Williams Realty represented the buyer.

Bradlee, 35, gained fame for his band Postmodern Jukebox, which often covers modern hits in jazz-swing style. The musician has released more than a dozen albums, including the 2013 record “A Motown Tribute to Nickelback.”

Kupcinet has directed such shows as “20/20,” “The Dating Game” and “The Richard Simmons Show.” He won three Emmys for the series “Cristina’s Court,” which he created and co-produced.

It seemed that Scott had acquired or was renting some fancy digs in L.A. but $2.75 million is a serious upgrade from his previous digs. He shouldn't have to worry about his neighbors complaining about the noise.

Morning writing routine. 32,000 words so far. This @PMJofficial book has become addictive for me.

Looks like those two entries recount Haley recording "Creep" and that the 2015 European tour was a success, but he didn't make money after its expenses.
