PS.... I think about the reach of and state of the technology of communications as it pertains to exposure and spreading the word on an artist and it boggles the mind.... what we say here has a reach and affect in Beirut, Lebanon?

It's going to be SUPER fun seeing reaction from overseas fans about seeing Haley with PMJ. Sure the fans in the States are always very excited to meet, hear Haley at a show....but think about this.. a week ago, most over seas fans probably thought it'd be a long time, if ever, they'll get to go to a 'Haley show'.... and here we are, a week later, like Magic, she'll be performing in Germany, France, Switzerland, Poland, the UK etc...

Sure there was her travel through Asia, but it was unexpected, in support of American Idol and didn't have an official 'tour schedule' ... more of 'presser' appearances (malls/radio stations/ game shows) , as opposed to scheduled, official performance appearances that you could buy a ticket for in actual show venues

Honestly, I don't know how these fans can sustain their support of Haley for this long w/o the 'hope' of seeing her (or that she's put so little out, officially)... My enthusiasm and output is fueled by seeing Haley perform live. Without the opportunities I've had to see her, I'm not sure I could sustain it.

I think that speaks to the importance of the videos (to sustaining fan support, especially, globally)... even though the videos are not official, nor 'new songs', they do alot to showcase Haley's potential, charisma, performance ability, talent and star power.

Because of the reach of the Internet, it appears that the videos have more potential for influence than I ever could've imagined when I started the account over 2 years ago simply because I wanted to share my experiences w/ you guys and didn't want to have to keep bothering Miguel to post my videos on his channel

It got there faster than anything from Haley in the post Idol era.

Scott's recent reposting of the video on his FB page has been getting a lot of attention. It has over 5,083 Likes and 433 comments. It is curious that past postings by Scott for Haley's video didn't draw nearly that much attention. In fact, aside from a repost of the Shoshana Bean video (which has 25,000 Likes), the posting for Habits has garnered more attention than any posting on Scott's FB timeline in the past year (or more). I looked into the FB video issue and found out that Habits is a FB video upload rather than a link to YouTube. The earlier posting of the video by Scott was a YT link.

Haley's Habits has 360,000 "views" for the video uploaded to Scott's page. These are Facebook video player views that have nothing to do with YouTube. It was uploaded on Feb. 4. The way FB counts views inflates the number (see the thread on this I added) but the bottom line is that the Habits video is present on two separate sites and so the total number of "meaningful" views is well above 500,000, and the combined views could exceed a million within days rather than weeks. It is also worth noting that the Habits video has more than 5000 "shares" among FB friends.

I think there were 433 "top comments." Sorting by "recent activity," it shows 888. Many of them though are simply people notifying others by posting their FB name.

While the FB video may fizzle out relatively quickly it appears to be really doing well at the moment.

Since I posted the achievement of more than 500,000 last night, Haley's YT video has logged about 5,500 views. On the other hand, in that same time the Facebook video has counted about 43,000 views. Since the earlier posting, 141 Likes have been added on YT, while on FB the number is 655. (Not prime time.)
