Yeah!! I have been waiting for that to finally happen. Thanks for noticing! All those millions of PMJ YT views only got this video some 30-40k hits, people are just not finding it because it is buried in other stuff. Maybe sometime in the future it will rise to the surface. I still think it is a fun video done with passion for the project and I do notice that teenagers tend to like it spontaneously. It needs a context to break through, for example a popular game.

One of the greatest rewards from the SMYM project is confirming thru Halien Crowd Funding that Haley could achieve her goals and then some with the fans that love her. I'll cherish the perks I got and the pleasure of the experience watching it take shape. The video is nice eye candy and the music is nice ear candy...a great team effort!

I just notice from the comments that a number of people seem to have landed at this video not because of Haley but because they were looking for "Captain Falcon" videos. He's an action figure in the "Super Smash Bros." series it seems and the phrase "Show me your moves!" is his signature phrase, which is why people are searching for it. No sense from the comments that any were instantly turned into Haley fans ... but I bet it happened to one or the other!

A week ago I posted this one on the Haley inspiring others thread:

Quote:Captain Falcon - videogame character that asked foes to "Show me your moves" set to Haley's SMYM
Quote:Best video ever videoed

Quote: GREAT SHIT BRO

Ooops, sorry John, I missed that one (strange, I thought I read just about everything). I did have a nagging feeling that someone must have noted this before. But this is not only Haley inspiring others but also Haley channeling her inner falcon ... yes, a falcon fits her well!

Kind of strange, but has anyone watched Lady Gaga's latest video "Stupid Love"?  It just really reminded me of SMYM video....to me, there just seemed to be some similarities that made me think of Haley's video. Thoughts?

Yeah - I can see some similarities there, with a much bigger budget

RE: Show Me Your Moves Video
I have great respect for GaGa, maybe I should recuse myself but my initial reaction was it looked “cheap”... I couldn’t tell if they were actually in the desert or dancing in front of a green screen, it never entered my mind that it was similar to Haley’s SMYM video, so I didn’t carry that bias as a first reaction. I especially didn’t care for the choreography either.  GaGa has done better IMO.

I suppose garish costuming situated in a desert makes them similar, other than that, in my honest opinion, and without initially making the connection between the two, Haley’s is the far superior video (and song Tongue  ) although maybe GaGa has better back up dancers? Wink
