HALEY REINHART - FORD DISPLAY

Haley-Reinhart-500Haley Reinhart, 23, is a singer/songwriter who's debut album, "Listen Up!" was released on Interscope Records & 19 Recordings. Reinhart grew up in Chicagoland, born into a world of music. Singing at the young age of seven, she began to take the stage alongside her parents and their band of 30 years called, "Midnight." Growing up watching her folks, she became heavily influenced by rock 'n' roll, funk, pop, jazz, and the blues. She hit the big stage with her High School Jazz Band when they toured across Europe performing at both Montreaux & Umbria Jazz Festivals. Reinhart continued to study jazz in college as she formed many bands & side collaborations. In 2011, she landed herself the third place title on Season 10 of American Idol. Since then, she has toured the U.S. and abroad; singing and partaking in many song writing camps around the globe. She has reached many different listeners playing in festivals such as Lollapalooza, Sonic Bloom, and NOLA's Jazz Fest. Reinhart has made a mark performing with acts like Tony Bennett at Nokia Theatre, Slash at the MGM Grand, David Foster for Celebrity Fight Night, to Irvin Mayfield & The New Orleans Jazz Orchestra at Carnegie Hall. She is currently working on her sophomore album and releasing a single and music video for new song, "Show Me Your Moves."

What day is it?? I didnt see any dates for her performance. But it probably wont be my kind of event to attend......Black tie attire and $250....way too fancy for me!

The event is held from 7-11 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 13.

Hmmm...Friday the 13th...My wife would probably send Jason & Freddy Krueger to do me in if I dropped $250 + $100 Tux rental + parking to see this. Maybe I can stow away in Harry's Guitar case.

Himm, remember now, this is for charity! I would love to go. Cruising around the auto show in a long black dress. But unless I have a donor to pay for my ticket, don't think Ill be going either.

Good thing Harry owns his own Tux. It will be just Haley singing & Harry on Guitar for about an hour & 15 minutes. Haley will be staying downtown. Sure wish or hope we could get some video. I would think someone or some site would post at least a partial recording. If it was half that cost i would be there or if I didn't have an in-house finance manager to answer to, I'd be there.

I wish I could go to this. I found out today that my nephew went to the Chicago Auto Show First Look function last year thru his job, which gave him tickets. Im trying to find out if he is going again this year, and if so, to bring a camera, and hang out at the Ford display for me. Wouldn't that be great if he was going....
