I wish I could go to this. I found out today that my nephew went to the Chicago Auto Show First Look function last year thru his job, which gave him tickets. Im trying to find out if he is going again this year, and if so, to bring a camera, and hang out at the Ford display for me. Wouldn't that be great if he was going....

Harry just stopped by with this newspaper tribute to Haley from the Daily Herald's hometown celebration 4 years ago. I asked Haley to autograph it so I could encase it in plastic and mount it on my Wall Of Fame next to all my autographed 2005 Sox World Series full-page newspapers. She did an awesome job of signing it for me! Harry picked up my camera and extra batteries for Patti to capture whatever she can from the Auto Show gig tomorrow night. I offered to have Harry join me for a glass of citrate of magnesia. (I'm having a colonoscopy tomorrow morning) He declined the offer :

If I had thought of it sooner I bet I could have gotten a deal to attend this event from my friends at Stacek Chevrolet, and maybe wear a borrowed Alyse Paris Evening Gown and offered to drive the Reinharts down there. Just like Midnight's private gig (with surprise guest singer Haley) that I could have crashed, I'm starting to regret that I didn't override my finance manager's raised eyebrows and be there tonight, especially since I'm fully recovered from this morning's colonoscopy that showed I have the guts all the way to be a perfect asshole.
