Apparently Caley wrote another song while in Europe

So I was out all day, we're moving offices. On the drive, I was talking about my trip to the UK to see Haley w/ Postmodern Jukebox to a guy who was helping us. He said, wait I've heard of that name, aren't they that Youtube band? They came up on my FaceBook they did that song....

Me: "All About That Bass"?

Him: Yeah, that's them, I've watched a bunch of their videos...

Of course I had to tell him about Haley, "the first girl singing in that song"
(He wasn't impressed with Ariana)

I told him I'd be seeing them in Seattle, his girlfriend and he might go, as they've been watching PMJ vids for a while

A friend of mine who lives in New Mexico texted me a couple of days ago and said "Haley's on my Facebook feed. Something called Scott Bradley's Post Modern Jukebox. All about that bass. Casey too!" He said he gave it a "like". I filled him in on their collaboration, and emailed him links to Habits, Stacy's Mom, Tusk's Creep vid, and XAtlantics vids.

XAtlantic, just so you know, I submitted both your 'red' vid and the Black and White vid (both with Christian's Audio) to Haley to consider posting. (I figured if Haley didn't post it to her Youtube, at the very least, she has the 'best resolution' video of her first performance w/ PMJ in Europe, something she can fondly look back on in the future )

Also sent Creep and Habits from UK (I included the other PMJ performances as well, not for her to post, but as a keepsake to that Finale )

It's funny you guys mention this cause just today at work, a coworker came up to me and told me "that video you showed me last week with Haley Reinhart keeps coming up on my Facebook feed". I had showed her the PMJ video last week so she recognized it. She said it's come up a couple times on her Facebook. LOL

It's amazing how this video is being passed around.

Two of the singers were tw of my favorites in the America Idol.

The coooool PostModern Jukebox version of "All about that Bass" featuring Haley Reinhart, Casey Abrams, and other great talent.

Her raspy voice is killer lol

Do you know the guy with the pony tail playing the bass was actually on American Idol a few years back did an amazing job then but too quirky I guess for the people who actually vote. This was an amazing version.

^^It is amazing, but not surprising how many people remember Haley and Casey from AI.
Haley was one of those people, that once you got attached, you remember that long curly blond hair, if nothing else. Other performers were forgettable. She is not. And once she sang Moanin with Casey, well they were forever a couple in people's eyes. She did receive something like 25 million votes I heard for the final 3 performance on AI. That does not translate into 25 million people, but it still is a significant number of people.

For so many people to comment on the video remembering her and Casey, it shows how many backers she had with the show. I really love reading all these comments!

As with the views, likes and the rest on social media sites it is hard to interpret what those votes mean. For AI it seemed to boil down to demographics. I believe Haley and Casey appealed to an older demographic, while Scotty and to a lessor extent Lauren appealed strongly to the younger teens. The ones inclinded to vote a couple of hundred times or more. But Scotty is able to draw crowds to his shows, which lends more general credibility to his win.

Haley powered up to #3, which means a lot of people voted for her. But a lot of them were probably like Tom Hanks; voting not just once, but twice! And a lot of people who watch these shows don't vote at all.

Related: I've been poking around on YT looking at the channels of people who have let comments on PMJ and Haley videos. I lot of peope who leave glowing comments do not tag the video with a "like' for whatever reason.

It has been satisfying to see people recognizing Haley and Casey on the FB video share comments. Even people who have only a glimmer of recognition. I got a laugh out of the "Casey Armstrong!" comment.

Thanks for letting me know! Yes, for her enjoyment first, then to do with them whatever she wants - I held the camera, Christian got the audio, you turned it into a video that deserves that name, THF in action. Beyond a means of allowing others to share the pleasure, the primary purpose, from the start we'd also had in the backs of our minds the "documenting" aspect - one day when Haley's a grand old lady (when I'll bet rotting bones, I'm afraid) these will have been her awesome beginnings.

The red glare light pics I took and you made much better (not only by cropping them in just the right ways) aren't the greatest photographic products by any means, but I am quite pleased with the fact that the warm red color somehow catches the eye, they do pop out from other visuals slightly, and have a warm feeling to them, also as your video front covers (the raised hand Morgan James does, too, btw). I like that. Who'da have thunk! (I also like the ice cold blue vibe of others, as in the banner.)

A "European tour #1 photo album" would be a great thing as a gift to her sometime, with so many good photos available from those whirling 2 weeks.
