Out of my experience of editing other's video, (and my own experience) it's better to video the stage and in focus than zoom closer and it's out of focus. When it's in focus, sometimes you can 'zoom closer' using editing software and if the resolution is high enough. Otherwise zooming in closer, the stage lights seem to tend to wash out detail which defeats the purpose of zooming in, in the first place.

I also noticed that she didn't sing the expletive lyric.... I wonder if the venue asked PMJ to not use it? (and if that's the case, did they also ask that the word 'sh!t' not be used in AATB?

Also noticed a quick reaction from Adam (eyes) at the "very special" moment.

Could it be the fact the event was sponsored jointly by Hyatt Regency and 2C2C Entertainment have anything to do with it? 2C2C looks like a pretty interesting enterprise - hope it succeeds - but I don't see anything in their info to indicate that they're conservative enough for it to be a factor. But Hyatt, on the other hand, maybe? Or, maybe it was at the request of the facility?

Then again, maybe it was a spur of the moment gut decision based on the composition of the audience?

Or, maybe there was some outside coverage in the house with a potential for publicity?

Inquiring minds want to know!

Anyway, it was a "very" excellent performance by Haley. She just keeps getting "better and better."

BTW, the Hyatt sponsorship explains the VIP treatment at the luau, and the primo cabana.

I don't think that's it, the Troubadour was all ages as well. Haley met the young Hula Hooping Halien from the SMYM video who flew in from Florida to see her (Hannah) and knew she was in the audience (center front row), but didn't change the lyric then either, though she 'pantomimed' to cover her ears as she looked at the girl in that part of the song...
