Now for my recap:
When PMJ first announced the fall tour stopping in Baltimore--I was wavering on tix because didn't know if Haley/Casey would be there. I was thinking that with my luck it would be the usual stops for them--midwest/west coast. I'm glad I was wrong!!!
After Caley announced--the available seats were not great. So, I waited and it just got worse ha. So, I bought a pair and thought I would find better seats before the show. I've done this before and don't mind paying more if it's something I really want to see. A couple times day-- I would check ticketmaster for resale tix and finally a pair (4th row center) came up a day or two before the show!

I sold my other ones on TM So, if anyone missed getting tix--keep looking on on TM for resale tix.
M&G said 5:45pm and if u were late--u wouldn't be admitted. After parking and all that --got into the venue around 5:30. Box office told us 6pm. But, it really didn't start till around 6:15/6:30. They took the group into the lobby and had had us stand there. The PMJ tour mgr (I think that is who it was) asked what are fave PMJ song was. Nobody said anything. He asked again--just silence. It was SO awkward haha. Finally, I said Stacy's Mom and Creep--and then a few others said something.
Scott came out in the lobby, talked a bit (history of PMJ etc) and they decided to take us in to theater and sit us in the rows by the stage. He talked to us and asked who were we most excited to see--or something like that. There were a quite few Casey fans at this M&G so Scott started telling stories about him. Casey had good timing cause he was the 1st performer to walk out on the stage. Of course, I'm thrilled to see him.

But, I still don't know if Haley is there. After a couple of minutes, a few others came onto the stage-and then Haley walks out! I said --She made it! Haley heard me and smiled and said yeah. I have a pic of her on the stage there. This whole thing lasted about 10/15 min--and then they had us go back into the lobby to get a pic with PMJ.
They had set all the performers up on these stairs and had us wait in line to take a pics. Scott and Sarah were at the bottom of the steps and then Haley and Casey next ones back. Most people were getting their pics next to Scott. But, when I walked over Casey recognized me and gave me a hug! So, I went up a step or two to be closer to Casey and Haley. I guess that was a bit rude--but I didn't think about it then. Later, a woman walked up and asked for a kiss from Casey--I'm sure u all have seen it! What u don't know is that they held that kiss for a good 20 secs I think. I had time enough to takes pics. (She had to be in her 40s or 50s and her husband didn't seem to mind hahaha)
After everyone got a pic with PMJ--the tour director said the performers had to go eat dinner and made them leave. He was herding them out of the lobby. Someone must have got a hold of Haley cause she somehow remained in the lobby. She graciously took pics with some people. Hank told me to go over and get one. I felt uncomfortable about it--but he nudged me over. I was the last one and I was so nervous. She said--I understand u have a fan site for Casey. I said a twitter account--and I also do Haleyfans. I think it came out wrong--cause I meant that I do go on Haleyfans. She looked at me a little strangely. I don't know what she thought I meant. I was gonna tell her that Barb almost came to Baltimore to see the show with me--but there wasn't time. I don't even know if I said thank u--I sure hope I did. But, I'm so grateful to have met her FINALLY
(I anticipated the M&G to be less formal. I thought there would some time to talk to the performers and mingle a bit. But, there was really none of that. I don't know--I did think it would be different. I had so many things I planned to say--and didn't have chance

)
There was still an hour till show time--hung out in the lobby--drinks and snacks. Almost 8pm--got our seats. All of a sudden I get a text. It's my brother asking me if I'm at PMJ............
I had an idea he liked them cause he has actually liked a couple of my PMJ posts I've shared of FB. He usually just ignores all my FB posts pretty much ha. He also shared the Morgan/Haley vid--I remember that. But, I've never really talked him about it. Now, in Sept he had to have emergency open heart surgery (quadruple bypass--he's just 53--good shape--but it's a family history thing) I was actually thinking of asking him to go to the show with me--but I thought he may not be well enough to be out that late I doubted he would go anyway...........
I say I am here and he says he is there too! Say what?? He walks down to say hi and asks--IS Haley and Morgan here??? And I take out my camera and show him THE pic hahahaha! And he says--how did u get that? I say I have my ways! He is there with his wife and 2 other couples. It was a great moment for me. We rarely agree on music--so this was sweet. Afterwards he texted me that the show was awesome! I have another Halien in my family!
Show starts. I know you all have seen the set list..So here are some observaitions
Joey--She sounded really terrific live! She seemed a bit more shy than the others. But, did great for her 1st show out!
Sara--She was quite the entertainer! Hank loved her! Great voice and fun to watch
Sarah--WOW this girl is amazing dancer and cute as a button. Very very impressive . DAMN!
Lavonne--Wonderful job as the MC--He can really sing and was a lot fun!
Casey--ok what can I say. This kid is a showman with a boatload of talent! (To start off his 1st song--he brought out this big ladder. He then balanced it on his hand. I was in too much shock to get a pic till after it was over.) As always, he was amazing! Stacy's Mom-that song is going at the speed of light. It's not easy to play stand up bass and sing lead or harmony--but he does it. He played guitar for many of the songs--so he was out on stage a lot of the nite! Casey has no trouble making eye contact with audience. He sings directly to people--areally cool thing to do.
Haley--Hearing her sing in person is truly a unforgettable experience, Outrageous! Seven Nation Army was terrific as u can see in the video. What a voice and she does it so effortlessly. Creep is such a great song for her because it has meat in that melody and she can really get a hold of it and send it soaring! (Lets face it--some of these pop songs don't have that much melody even after Scott gets through with them.) I really noticed the cool hand movements--it was very sexy and sensual. So unique and adds to the performance. She looked gorgeous and everyone took notice! Haley has got it going on! And did I mention how she turns around and walks off the stage--woah!
Scott didn't play piano through the show. The musical director did. (I assumed Scott would play the whole concert.) However, he did come out and take suggestions from audience and did the mash up jazz style. He can play! After that--he did stay on the piano for Creep and Stacy's Mom.
Hank wanted me to put a few of his thoughts--Haley looked 17 at the M&G --but all grown up on stage! He also didn't think the sound system was that good. He said they need better speakers. But, he loved the show!
I loved the show and now have the post concert blues. They hard to get rid of. I want to come to Chicago.
i wonder if anyone will get through this book I just wrote. Guess what--I deleted some stuff!
Thank u Tusk! I have been writing the recap for two hours
