Haley touring with PMJ -- Feb 2015 - March 2016 (& March 2017)

I had a great time with Steve and my friend Toni tonight at PMJ. Sarah Reich and Ariana Savalas are the stars of the show when Haley's not there, IMO. Hearing Maiya sing Creep, creeped me out. That song should be retired for every other singer. Blake Lewis surprised me, as an Idol junkie, he was never my favorite, but his voice had improved vastly. Casey was manic! Joeys voice grated on my nerves about 50% of the time- she's improved a lot too, but her voice just hurts my ears sometimes. Overall it was a great show, my friend loved it too! I missed Haley so so much.

Glad that PMJ made it to Denver and that you had a good time NUG. It seems that when Maiya performs Creep there are often some positive comments about it, but it would seem weird to have someone other than Haley sing it. It seem that participating with PMJ helps most of the singers up their game a bit.

At least I got a NUG HUG and my drive & my wife's flight arrived safely. No pot was found by TSA in my wife's baggage.

Now that I'm finally back in Wheeling from Christmas in Colorado, I've uploaded the few things I bothered to record from the PMJ Denver Delayed Show. The show started an hour late due to transportation & a cast member that got Cooked byTSA, but I only recorded these three partial videos from my poor cramped location in the balcony with large dudes blocking my view. Not like the previous 4 PMJ shows I attended in the front row. I'd say this Denver Guy got an even better deal from Ariana than I got at 3 different shows, but I'm not complaining. The Upright Bass and Drum set were supplied by the venue because the tour bus with equipment was stranded in Wyoming and there were a number of technical problems with collapsed microphones that had to be adjusted and a cord on the Bass that got caught making Casey improvise a fill-in joke while it got fixed. I had to hold the camera above my head and block the very bright viewfinder from blinding the people sitting behind me and with a 20X zoom out fully, trying to keep the image above me on the singer was very difficult. The sound is better on the recording than it was in the balcony because the huge speakers were set way too intense and many songs hurt my ears...especially when Joey sang

Steve, I'm glad to hear I wasn't alone in feeling cramped...I mentioned to my friend, "wow, people must have been a LOT smaller back in the day this theater was built!" I know I'm not a small person, but I felt like a sardine in that seat!! And yes....the sound made Joeys already irritating voice even more so, it literally hurt my ears at times.
