I just watched Haley's "I Who Have Nothing" and "House of the Rising Sun" Idol performances. They were tweeted by a guy in Finland after he found Haley's "Creep" video.

I wondered if he was exploring after seeing Creep. Having his journey of discovery aka WTF.

The only thing I wished is that supportive authors like this one would not go directly from Idol to "now she's back with ...", as if there was not much in between. I'd like it if they mentioned Listen Up! as a solid success that many more people ought to discover as well if they like (in this case) Creep. Haley has done so much since Idol, so she's not "back". Halien bias?

Yes...He uses very descriptive words to highlight what is great about Haley's version:

Wow! I'll be honest, this is a perfect example of the first page of a book capturing the reader. What I mean by that is I wish her beginning had been different because when she first started singing, I thought, meh, she sounds just like another Lorde wannabe. I nearly moved on, but then she offered us her unique sound, and I decided to stay, and was blown away. My God, she blows Lorde out of the water, truly! Her true style is totally unique and all her own. Her voice is amazing and she has perfect pitch!!! I hope others who watch this video stick around to hear the entire thing. That was kind of like writing a new masterpiece, yet beginning it with, 'It was a cold and rainy night.'
