Thanks for the video upload. The tune I actually had in mind, while comparing Haley and Billie, was a recording of I Wished on the Moon that I've heard. While I can find a YT vid of that song, it's not the recording that I'm thinking of so this vid will have to do in regards to the way the "Lady Day" could slide around notes.



Do keep in mind that Billie came no where close to having Haley's range.

I'm intrigued with the harpist on this video.In the tweet that she sent out about her participation in the video she referred to Haley as-"stunning songbird Haley Reinhart" which is one of the better ones I've heard in awhile.

I have watched "American Idol" for years and I stand by my favorites, winners not withstanding. Halley was one of my favorites although it was clear she was on a different track. The reality has supported that idea.
