Haley is a warmup for the featured band, The Rigs, which is a band I had never heard of. The Rigs are T.J. Stafford and Caitlin Parrott with some backup players. They have apparently had some of their work used on TV shows.

I find this to be kind of a weird gig for Haley at this point. She gets to sing, which is her joy and she can check the venue off her bucket list. But at this point, who is selling more tickets?

^^ Maybe she is doing what she has to for now. She is out there and networking - at little cost to her. It is a tough business from what I have read, and it takes a lot of money. I would love her to have a more cohesive plan, but she may not be able to pay for it just yet....

I was thinking pretty much the same thing. It should be the other way around as far as who is opening for who, no disrespect to The Rigs. Haley is getting great exposure with PMJ, that connection has helped her gain many new fans obviously, as well as get her name out there again to previous fans who had lost track of her. But with all of the time she has spent touring with PMJ, she's had little time to do her own thing. She did the jazz gig with The USAF Band, and the Dave Damiani jazz gig, and also the July 3rd show with her family, but it's been a while since she has done her own show her own way. Maybe she wants to get in some performances prior to the release of her EP? Getting prepared for the tour that follows?

I think her doing this show just shows us how humble she is. Even with all the success she's had, she's still willing to open up for someone else. And for all we know, she met these guys before all of this and promised them to do a show together. Besides, it's not like she doesn't have other stuff going on. She just went on a very successful international and national tour after all. Just off their videos, I'd open for them if they asked me to.
