I heard through the grapevine that Haley has been invited to play with the Wheeling High School Jazz band in Chicago in December…one of two high schools invited?---because this is the final year of her former HS Jazz band director Brian Logan….I wasn't listening as careful as I should have been to the particulars so I will try and firm this up more…..

This is pretty cool. Haley singing with her high school jazz band. Kind of going back where it all started. I checked out this Midwest Clinic-- I didn't even know they had music conferences like this " you can choose from 40 concerts, and 90 music clinics, with over 17000 attendees. "

Anyone can attend. Cost would be 85$ for first time attendees. And WHS Jazz Combo is only playing for 30 minutes. Are you going commish?

I've had a number of email exchanges with Brian Logan, keeping him informed of Haley's worldwide adventures. This is why NUG & I won't be seeing Haley with PMJ in Denver on December 18th according to Harry as Haley is expected to stay in Wheeling thru Christmas after that. But if I wanted to fork over $85 to see Haley sing a song or two I could do that before jumping in my car for the drive to Denver.

Unfortunately I will not be able to get out of work…tho I spoke to one of my school's band directors and he is going to try and make it….he's both a Haley fan and a Brian Logan fan….Not only has Logan done a great job on the jazz end, the WHS Marching Band is quite astounding too & I always enjoy their football halftime show.

7 years after Haley was the featured vocalist at the Midwest Clinic, Patti Reinhart will be taking my camera to the 2015 Midwest Clinic to capture Haley's performance.

It will be an interesting comparison to this Wheeling High School Jazz Band, directed by Brian Logan, performance by Haley Reinhart at the Midwest Clinic Dec. 2008. Night & Day

I'll need the camera back the next day for my drive to the Dec 18th Denver PMJ Show where I'll be with NUG so I should be able to upload whatever Patti can get. I'll give her a few viewfinder pointers. Thank You Patti for your assistance. <3

I think I'll be able to get "F is for Family" on my Kindle Fire with a WiFi connection at the Denver motel. It's streaming so I think I could watch it anytime. We'll most likely drive to the show separate or meet at a restaurant near the Paramount Theatre so I can can stay after the show to get Ariana to sign my hat she paraded around the stage.
