I really feel her putting her heart and soul into this performance. Her ability to connect with songs has vastly improved since idol! It just makes her that much more enamoring as a performer.

and that's why they're putting #Better forward as not only the leading single, but also the EP name. I think that will be the one they concentrate on selling the most, maybe even "My Cake"...

But that doesn't mean they also aren't interested in selling units as well. We all know it's the covers by an artist that brings in the ears of new fans to listen to the artist's original work.... Could that have helped LU sales just a little bit if it included a widely popular cover?

Covering a classic so beautifully might be the incentive for people who love her on PMJ and other older covers so they would give a listen to her originals, when they might not have considered it, with an album of six, new, unheard of songs...

How long ago, months? did Ole have that listening party for the EP? That was pre Australian tour, maybe they approached Haley about adding a cover, then recorded then produced it

They supposedly recorded all the songs with Harry in LA, but months later, they bring Anders back over from the UK (twice) to help w/ the production on the EP.... adding something, such as this song to take advantage of her success w/ PMJ, fits into maybe why they are taking a 2nd look at the EP as a whole and thus the delay of something that was supposed to be out by now (at least the single, "Better")

(ps when I 1st heard those 'hidden' songs on Soundcloud, my initial thought was, 'this is going to be just like SMYM again, fans of Haley's vintage covers are not going to like this....' I personally like those songs, then again, I'm biased, my favorite genre is Haley Reinhart )

It is really nice.

Perhaps they will break it up into a series of ads to run during the course of a show or sporting event. The do call it a story, so perhaps it has chapters.

The 2013 Origami ad has 15, 30, and 60 second versions. That video, like this one is a series of little vignettes. Editing it down visually is just a matter of reducing the number used and perhaps shortening some. Then cutting down the song. The song could actually be easily clipped at 28 or 56 seconds as is. Perhaps it was planned that way.

I could see this full ad being used a lot on YT, with the option for the viewer to cut it short after 15 seconds or so.
