Some of the articles mention her, but most don't. Some downplay the music. But the simple song that Haley performs with just piano accompaniment is a big part of what makes the video so potent. Watch it without sound or with some other music playing and it doesn't have the impact. The words are perfect. Haley functions as the narrator and sings the song in such a dreamy way that the voiceover at the end is like an alarm clock that brings me out of a trance.
