Woohoo...could it be reaching a tipping point where all AC/HAC stations will be playing it in a week or so??

^^ The new stations are iHeartRADIO stations that play the Delilah show in the evenings. Two additional new stations appear on the AC Starters list today (KRTR-FM, Honolulu, and WRCH-FM, Hartford). They played CHFIL overnight, the hours they run the Delilah show. Hopefully, Delilah continues to play CHFIL as she is played on well over 100 stations. CHFIL dropped to #21 on AC and, giving the numbers ahead of it, it will take some work to get back to Top 20. It doesn't appear any AC songs will go recurrent tomorrow.

CHFIL continues to set new highs, including position at #41, on HAC. It should jump several spots tomorrow due to songs going recurrent.

I don't know that Haley's version of CHFIL fits a snowball fight, but I'll take it as a positive sign that some college student in Maryland thought it did.

Ben Rector’s “Brand New” is the highest charting of three additions to the Top 40 at hot adult contemporary radio.

Spun 468 times during the January 17-23 tracking week (+146), “Brand New” enjoys a seven-place lift to #37 on this week’s Mediabase Hot AC chart.

Justin Timberlake’s “Drink You Away” follows at #39. The song, which was #43 last week, received 401 spins during the most recent tracking week (+73).

Haley Reinhart’s cover of “Can’t Help Falling In Love” claims the #40 position this week. Up one place from last week’s mark, the song received 376 weekly spins (+40).

Was expecting a bigger jump but the other 2 subject songs leaped over CHFIL.

Hum...not sure about this now...the spin numbers are the same as earlier today when Haley was #41. Upon review, the only difference between Access Mediabase and kworb.net is that Taylor Swift Wildest Dreams is recurrent on Access. I thought a few songs would go recurrent (tomorrow), Wildest Dreams wasn't one that seemed to qualify.

MJ's Big Blog: Monday Morning Mediabase Update: Jan 18-24

Haley Reinhart came in 3rd on the tenth season of Idol and she’s making in-roads with a gum commercial. Her gorgeous cover of “Can’t Help Falling in Love” achieved two milestones this week going top 40 on HAC and top 20 on AC. It’s relatively rare for covers to get a lot of love on mainstream radio and covers for commercials have even less luck. It’s a testament to the quality of this one that it is resonating with audiences.

CHFIL got 3 monitored adds today. One add on AC, WTFM-FM in Johnson City, TN, which has been playing it since last week, and two adds on HAC, KORL-FM in Honolulu and WARQ-FM in Colombia, S.C., neither of which have shown any spins yet.

Not sure what this means, sorry but don't follow the charts. Some have added and not played the song yet?
