I know you all want to see photos & video of Haley & Patti in Philadelphia now that Haley sent my camera with those images to me just in time for my birthday dinner with Yanni, Babbs, Pennylane and Harry & Patti, but our group photo at dinner will have to suffice for now:

On the memory card there are 70 photos (although many are sightseeing shots) and about a dozen videos. The main video of Haley singing "God Bless The Child" is intact but I need to do a lot of editing ...but YES WE DO HAVE GBTC ON VIDEO FROM PHILLY!!! I'll post tomorrow after editing.

That was absolutely beautiful!! Have to admit I had goose bumps almost the whole song!!! Wow! Haley showed em alright! powerful! Confident! And Haley looked stunning!!! Gotta love Patti's filming too. Brings a big smile to my face thinking of the camera being on in her purse for 18 minutes.
Himm , please thank Patti for bringing this song to us Haliens from the Philly Gala. We probably never would have heard it ( or seen the performance) otherwise.

I'm leaving this as "unlisted" cuz it's a bit of an oddity of what we are used to. (or what i care for) Haley & Chill Moody are introduced by Joe Piscopo 10-26-15 after Jimmy Fallon presents "The Roots" a platinum record plaque. Whodda thunk another genre of music Haley can represent is Rap? Well she did sing the B.o.B. Rap part at Lollapalooza in Chicago in 2012. Patti did a much "Better" job of keeping the camera steady on this one. She does love that zoom button doesn't she?

Thanks so much Himm for sharing and posting the pics of Haley and Patti at the PMA Walk of Fame Gala along with some sightseeing in Philadelphia and the videos. Haley’s performance of God Bless the Child is outstanding; I’m truly speechless, goosebumps for sure and among the best I’ve heard. Nothing beats Haley accompanied by a sax. Special thanks go to Patti and Haley and not to forget Himm’s camera which made it all possible.

I am more impressed and happy for Haley being invited to the PMA Class of 2015 induction ceremony than her missed DWTS appearance even with the possibility of it potentially boosting her career. To be asked to help induct Haley’s jazz idol into the Philadelphia Music Walk of Fame by singing one of Billie Holiday’s signature songs that she wrote in the city she was born before all of those musical luminaries is the highest honor for Haley I can think of. Yes the DWTS performance would have been terrific as well but for me I am definitely more thankful and proud that Haley was given this unique opportunity and able to pay musical tribute to Billie Holiday than being background vocals on a nationally televised dance show even with Haley’s amazing CHFIL rendition. Besides with all that is going on with Haley right now, it is truly a tremendous time.
