no, definitely not. They likely no their song a week or so in advance, and start the day after results. I haven't watched it (although I did watch clips of Kellie Pickler..who, believe it or not, is a stunningly beautiful dancer).

I think there were different reasons for Capitol. (Or I hope so anyway.)

I sure am hoping and praying that Haley will be singing CHFIL live on DWTS! But I am wondering, if she does sing it live, most of the dance routines are only 1 minute long and Nick Carter's routine was 1:15 minutes last Monday for his Halloween night Argentine Tango. That doesn't give Haley very long to sing onstage.

When celebrities have sung in the past on DWTS, at least the ones I checked out, like Christina Grimmie, Lady GaGa, etc they have sung an entire song with the professional dancers dancing to the music. It almost seems silly to have Haley get up on stage and sing for such a short time since it was already announced that Nick Carter and his partner would be dancing to CHFIL. Unless they start their routine in the middle of the song.? wonder how that's gonna work...

"…we were able to finagle a few things w/her unbelievable schedule 2 daz ago in Philly, long story short, Haley's singing Elvis on 'DWTS' this Monday! Yay"

kkong I know i know. I better be wrong because this such a great chance for Haley to sing live the song so many have heard on facebook, you tube and now TV. I just hope somehow she gets to sing more than a minute of it.

Maybe the story is incorrect in that, the song will be a longer group number.

I sure hope so cause the first story I heard about this was that it was going to be a professional group number to CHFIL, which makes much more sense. Sorry Nick but I think youll be dancing to a different song.

This is great, great news! I don't watch the show much but remember hearing how it launched Christina Perri's career with "Jar of Hearts". I just watched that video and although the song is almost 3 minutes, a couple started dancing part way in and then paused at times throughout the song. Maybe the show works differently now, but the same format could work for CHFIL.
