Halien Shindig #4 begins today

Today 11/18 - Buzzenator & Pat are on their way driving to Chicago and LauraLiz is boarding her plane from Baltimore. Rendezvous of 8 Haliens at 4 PM for the 2 car loads heading from Wheeling to the Riviera Theatre PMJ concert starring Haley Reinhart on her last day of the first part of her fall tour.

Thursday - 8 of us are at a dinner plus musical ("Elf") show with Patti Reinhart joining us us Haliens to celebrate Babbs Birthday.

Friday - Pizza, Games & Video watching party.

Saturday - 9 of us reserving close to stage dinner & show seats to the Midnight Band playing at 9 PM.

If you see this before you head off to the show, let Haley know how special it was for Rachel & Rebecca (and Pops) to meet her in Buffalo. The girls (and Pops) are still Buzzing over it.

Welcome aboard former lurker reinhartedinwnyh!! I might be able to get a surprise for you & Rachel & Rebecca that I'll need your address to send to. Buzz & Pat made it from Minnesota & I just got LauraLiz at OHare after her 2 hour flight delay due to high winds. Windy in the Wondy City??? Go Figure!

More fun than any Halien should be allowed to have in one evening. I'll have more to share once I recover here at Halien Headquarters.

I took a photo after the party last night of all the lovely Halien women (4) riding in the back seat of Steve's car. I would publish it here...but they threatened to ban me for life from HF.com.

The post party at Fat Cats was over the top fun. Haley (so classy and so adorable) surrounded by family, friends and thrilled Haliens managed to work the crowd to perfection...she is so good at giving everyone some personal attention.

I was my typical obnoxious Halien self...and since Pat was the center of admiration from the PMJ troupe and Haley (she always comes bearing gifts)...my opening line was "I brought Pat to Chicago."

When we first arrived at Fat Cats, before the show, the hostess realizing we were die hard Haliens, put Seven Nation Army on the sound system throughout the restaurant/bar. Moments later Penny comes back from the bathroom and says, "They're playing Seven Nation Army in the women's bathroom...really!"

While Haley & Harry were performing in New York City, these Halien Shindiggers were finishing dinner at King's Wharf before the performance of the musical "Elf".



All the Reinharts were going on just a couple hours of sleep. I ended up driving Patti/Harry's car home from the dinner-theatre show that Patti joined us Haliens at. Patti drove separate wondering whether she'd be able to stay awake after the intemission of the "Elf" musical. She made it all the way to the end. Patti said maybe if I get a cup of coffee I can make the drive, so I immediately said I'll drive you & your car home and my wife will follow behind in my car even though I was only going on 3 hours sleep also.

Then today we had a Lunch Outing to TGI Fridays with the Pizza, Videos & Gaming party tonight

I have wanted to see the Elf musical too! One of my favorite movies so I hope to see it live maybe next year if it is close enough (or at least walking distance from the train). Right now it is too far for me.
