It looks like Haley is doing a benefit concert close to home in April. Palatine is close to Wheeling (she has an "opening act" ). I wonder if she will be singing her songs from the EP??

Only about 40-45 minutes from me and a very easy drive!! I think I can go to this!! Have to request off work and talk to my parents to see if I can drive by myself or not. If not by myself, then my mom and/or brother will probably come too. Dad doesn't like loud concerts very much.

Reinhart’s highly anticipated EP titled, “Better” is set to release January, 26th 2016. The title track and first single is scheduled to be released fall 2015. Stay tuned!

Wow! What a great surprise! A new Haley concert in Chicago, and she's the headliner! Yippee!! I definitely want to go to this.

I was playing around today trying to find ticket prices and was thinking the benefit concert might be tied in with the Empowerment Summit earlier in the day on April 30th. I tried to call the Healthy Living Counseling Center (which is hosting the summit) to inquire about details but was unable to contact anyone. And their website doesn't list any ticket prices yet. Then, I thought Id try the radio station B96 in Chicago, which is sponsoring the concert. Much to my surprise, I was able to find tickets through their website. Early bird prices are $22.09, which is a steal in my book! Durty Nellie's, which is the venue, says the capacity is 800.

So if anyone is interested in going, and would like to purchase a ticket, here is the link to the site.

I just bought my ticket to the concert and YES that is a GREAT price as I was expecting it to be $50-100++ but it was early bird special so that is why.

Now I just have to get the request off work which should be no problem this time since it is during a time with no holidays (because holidays always make us really busy in the store). And my boss always works on Saturdays.

And please remind me to actually charge my camera. It was completely dead at PS Pub so I had to use my iphone. Or I might have to "steal" my mom's red camera....it takes AMAZING pictures with super close ups.

Thanks Tusk. Glad to be able to find those tickets early on. The venue, Durty Nellies, doesn't even have the Better benefit advertised on its website with their other shows. And one of the founders of the sponsoring organization for the summit called me today and left a message saying ticket prices would be up on their website "in a few weeks".

Ive even got coworkers interested in going to the benefit. After listening to me talk about Haley for 5 years now, they want to see Haley sing!! Should be fun! And the price is right!

I wasted a day at work this week making arrangements for this trip. I booked all my room stays without first knowing the name of the properties as I was looking for deals online.

I arrive just before noon on Saturday. I'll pick up a rental car at the airport that I'll use to get to Schaumburg, where I booked a room after looking for something near the venue with good reviews.

I'll return the rental car on Sunday and use public transit to get downtown where I'll stay at a hotel just off The Magnificent Mile. I'll then move across the street for Monday's stay.
