Talkin' About definitely has the funky sound. Chorus reminds me of Sly and the Family Stone.

Carrie Underwood's "Church Bells" is the third (U.S.) single off her Storyteller album that was released Oct. 23, 2015.

"Church Bells" is a country pop song that tells the story of a young woman who marries a rich, older gentleman, but afterwards finds herself trapped in an abusive marriage, which she ends by poisoning his drink.

I suppose a divorce was out of the question as she would have only received half his money.

Says some drummers mistake shedding for practice. He cautions that if doing the same licks as others are doing is your only "practice," you're going to end up sounding the same as them and there will be no reason to hire you.

Interesting. While I agree with him regarding "shedding for practice" concept, the uploaded YouTube clip is, to me, unfortunately is display of showmanship in its worst form ("look at me -- I'm so good!" as opposed to "here's how I can add to your show") which turns me off. The fact that there is no context to the video (how he can blend in with a group) is curious to me.

While perhaps not intended, I feel completely smacked by his ego.

Yea yea it may turn you off but it sounds to me like he can get the job done.

Haley Reinhart’s sophomore LP Better (due April 29) is shaping up to be an eclectic affair. The 25-year-old landed a viral hit with her stripped-back, jazzy cover of Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling In Love” and then completely switched things up on the raw and bluesy title track. She keeps us guessing with a sexy new song called “Behave,” which has a playful retro vibe. It’s the American Idol alum’s third gem in a row.

What’s it about? “A story of a very new and appetizing love, ‘Behave’ takes you on a sonic roller coaster ride,” Hayley explains. “Fuzzy bass and smooth harmonies will have you feeling some type of way.” She then includes a fun fact. “Bhavik ‘Knightstarr’ Pattani (the original producer of the demo track) kept autocorrecting to ‘Behave!’… so I thought it must be fate and kept it as the title. Seemed pretty fitting and it takes me back to the ’60s with Austin Powers exclaiming, ‘Ohhhhh Behave!'”
