This version of Listen is amazing. Just love it!

The videos are so fantastic (what a gift to be able to take part from afar, at least a bit), I can't imagine how mind blowing the real experience must have been!

Technical difficulties w/ my camera meant that I'll be lucky to get something 'decent'. Sent it in to fix it when it 'broke' in Palatine, picked it up in CA, but it now had problems focussing.... I might be able to 'salvage' a video or two

Good news is ISCAT & airhigh gave me their video from Petaluma and SF, which have superior video I can post....

In the mean time, what a great time

Met new 'old' friends from Twitter, picked one up, Colin, from the airport, he came in from Dallas to see Haley w/ the LA Haliens (I'd like to think I'm an honorary one, from Seattle ) Met new "New" Haliens who introduced themselves to us...got to hear Haley and the boys perform songs they hadn't performed previously, Jackson 5's "Never Can Say Goodbye" and Casey and Scott joined in for Creep, Casey sang his duet, "Never Knew What Love Can Do" with Haley....saw a proposal on stage, we all had a blast, and Haley blew us all away ...

Clare Reynolds and Jordie were actually quite good, I kind of regretted not videoing their set (although turns out it didn't matter cause, camera issues...which doesn't bode well for San Diego) and Jacob proved to be a presence during his short set, with some unexpected strong vocals and a stage presence..

I could dwell on my equipment misfortune, but how can I, the night was so good

Geoff pointed out to me that Scott and Blake Lewis were in the house in between Clare and Jacob's set, I saw them at the bar and bought their drinks. Scott told me that his tour manager helped Haley organize her tour, which I think most of us probably guessed. When we came into the venue for the Meet and Greet, I saw there was a balcony, I asked if we'd have access, but was told it was for Haley's VIP guests who apparently included Mark Ballas, Dylan Chambers and Rob Kleiner and many of her transplant friends from Chicago.

Some "OG Haliens" were in attendance

and Casey took a pic w/ us while we waited, but asked that we keep the 'surprise' and tweet it out after the show....
