I know it's a long shot, but I was wondering if anybody has any extra seated or VIP tickets available for purchase for the Jun 21 show at the Hamilton in DC? My wife and I have tickets, but by the time we managed to "educate" our friends about why they should be attending as well, all of the seated and VIP tickets were sold out.
I just saw this on Twitter: Quote:((Gabrielle Zwi))) @GabrielleZwi 4 hours ago
I have 6 Haley Reinhart (you may know her from Postmodern Jukebox??) VIP concert tickets $65 each. It's at The Hamilton on Tuesday, June 21…
Thanks, Miguel. Sent a tweet to Gabrielle.

I mean, it started at 7PM, the opener didn't come on until about 8PM and then they took more time to have the dude come up (who was really good by the way!) and then Haley didn't' end up coming on until like 9:30PM. :-( (I had to get the wife home at some point since she's 5 months pregnant). I understand it takes time to set-up and everything, but I thought 2.5 hours was a bit excessive before the main event. Still loved her voice of course and she has gotten far better as a performer. Good times and it was fun to see Himm2 again and a few other Haliens, hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did! :-)
Yes, it was great recognizing you outside the meet & greet doors Bonjojet Ryan from Halien Shindig #1. No one with VIP tickets got any email or text from the venue of what time the VIP was to start. The 3 other Haliens in my car (ReinhartedinWNY, Rebecca & Rachel) and I had to take our chances leaving Webster, NY for the 5 hour drive, motel check-in plus a late lunch, that we would get to the venue in time. We finally got an answer by having the Box Office pick up the phone on the 4th time we called. And you're right, the delays were annoying, the venue was tiny, the sound wasn't great and the background visuals were uninspiring. Fortunately I sat on the floor by the front railing with a column supporting my back for the down time. I have always had great conversations with new Haliens however, so that passed the time fairly well. The small venue did make for the most intimate setting and I was the first VIP into the venue during the soundcheck and Haley greeted me at her microphone and asked me a couple questions from the stage after finishing the first song. Also our interaction with Haley at the Meet & Greet session lasted a long time and you'll see at the end of this video that I forgot that my camera was still on top of the beverage dispenser, still recording after I had left the building
Driving home, the Ohio Turnpike traffic was at a dead stop for almost two hours due to a very bad accident 1/2 mile ahead of me so I still had a movie on my Kindle Fire I hadn't watched yet so that killed the time as I sat in the fast lane at zero miles an hour for the duration of the movie.
Bonjojet...Do you remember the name of the Girl/Group that opened for Haley in Pittsburgh? Of the three shows I was at this group was the best of the openers and easily my favorite:
and here is "I Belong To You". I think because I was filming Haley's face mostly in profile my camera had occasional trouble focusing on a straight-on face.
at 2:24 Haley points directly at Rebecca singing "You Belong To Me" and I swung over to try to capture Becca's reaction which was an excited gasping OMG! hands to the face.

Himm2: Her name was Brooke (The Redheaded singer) - Here's her website:

I thought they were pretty funky/cool/quirky/funny. The lyrics were a little "juvenile" I guess. But, they sounded great!

RE: Summer 2016 Tour Dates
I also got to catch Haley's show in Philly on Sunday eve!! I had a great time at World Cafe Live. It is a very nice small venue with food service for the seats and a small SRO section up front. The seats were filled and much of the SRO section (tough competition Sunday eve with Fathers Day, GOT and Game 7).
It was great to hear all the songs from Better! My favorite live versions were Talkin' About, Check Please, Cake and LIWFF. Unfortunately about 1/2 through, the audio for the louder songs was cranked up and I could hear a slight echo which took away from the experience, especially for IBTY. From the non-Better songs, my favorite was Keep Coming Back...the scatting especially.
The audience was very enthusiastic and Haley's voice and the entire band sounded great.

In Chicago, I was positioned next to the sound board, I also noticed the volume increased half way through her set, looked to my left and saw them pushing sliders upwards....so I guess it was on purpose? I seem to recall it was done in the middle of a song, I don't recall which one, maybe IBTY, I remember because I thought to myself that I hoped it wouldn't affect the audio recording too much.
