It's like she found a time machine and took me with her. I've seen movies where the guys watching these singers from back then were all gaga and dumbstruck by them. I thought it was just bad acting. Then I heard this and her Creep redux. It's like I was ripped back 70 yrs thru time and fell for the singer just like those guys in the old movies...

I am a big fan of Puddles, as a matter of fact our band does one of his mashups.

I love his style above all else.

I try to study his licks, and try to internalize them, his timing and phrasing are right up there with Streisand and Bennett.

I didn't hear a note he sang, or saw a move he made, watched this 5 or 6 times, and all I could see or hear was her.

It is not a mixing or recording thing, it is a guy thing.

On Haley's Journey Part 3

Preface - Threw my tv out in 2005, watching this for the first time b/c I got clued into Harry Reinhart this past summer - no idea his daughter on this show til a month ago ...

Wayyyy back when, I saw Aerosmith as a senior in HS, 1975, tho they were cool I never took to them THAT much but Steven Tyler's, "It's not how many times you fall, it's how many times you get back up" just made me an Aerosmith diehard.

Combination off Rocks always been bad ass tho, Hell the whole album just to be clear I did dig them but now they're locked-in as champs.

PS - How this kid (sorry I'm 60 now she's that to me) didn't win this competition, I will never know - poise, personality, fearlessness, and above all ... pipes like a rock & roll angel. TV ... go figure, if I hadn't thrown the thing out the window before, FOR SURE would've her elimination.
