I've been using the links to check the vote status and they work for me....

A reason I've been hashtagging "#WhatsThatMadness" and "#IdolDivision" is it's another way to do a search on Twitter. So if the above links don't work for you, simply do a search for the hastagged terms on Twitter, then chose 'Latest" at the top, to pull up a list of the most recent tweet using that hash tag.

(I made the above hashtags clickable to their search term so you can see what I'm talking about)

It's also out of necessity so I can keep the look and the tweets consistent. I just click #WhatsThatMadness and scroll down to my last announcement.

I've also figured out that organizing this in a timely manner is much easier if I plan my tweets out ahead of time and save it as a text file, so when it's time to start the next round, I just have to copy and paste the tweets without having to look anything up....especially that I'm also linking the respective video to it's 1v1 match up tweet.....

I'll start voting on twitter. I might use an alternate twitter identity without my full legal name that I use for more social things

There's no need to create another Twitter account if you're voting, it doesn't keep record or tally of who voted. Just click one of two choices, that's it. You won't be identified in anyway to justify creating an account just for voting, all that happens after you make a choice, the poll shows you the percentage of the votes and the vote totals, nothing else. The person creating the poll doesn't see anything extra either, sees what everyone else sees.

The only difference is when you create a poll, you aren't allowed to vote in your own poll

That's a really cool Twitter feature...

I have a couple Twitter accounts for other things...like when I used to vote on the voice or tweet peoples profiles...

But it sounds like you don't need that with the polls, which to me is a real feature.

Twitter is great like that in that you don't need to use your real identity unlike Facebook and GooglePlus where you're technically supposed to use your real name.

But no, I don't get carried away with that, even with the TV entertainment shows I'll vote only once....... somethings are about personal honor and, well, the world is a better place when you live in a way you're proud of. (like being sure to push your shopping carts to the cart keepers etc)

The other thing about using an alias .. is you can go nuts with the re-tweeting without someone googling you and seeing you're a complete fanatic... Not that I mind my real name associated with HR... .. just not 3 times a day LOL ...especially as I don't tweet at all ant those would be my only tweets.

So far as we know, it's complete. Recorded during most of January and mixed in February. It's expected to be released in May.
