I gather from the comments that Google is presenting it in the sidebar to some people as "recommended." Impossible to know what drives that -- we also saw it with Tusks' "At Last" video -- but I imagine being on a VEVO channel and getting a high number of likes to dislikes helps drive it. I hope they keep it up.

Many of the views might be from her 42K subscribers. From some of the comments made, I don't think they've been actively keeping up with Haley. If they do release a second song, one with Scott Bradlee might be a good choice -- if he were to call that out in a social media post.

Random observation, one thing I've noticed is the view count really slows down here at night. Which means the other side of the world really isn't watching it that much? If that's even how it works. I don't know. Hopefully they plan on targeting some real promo in other countries as well.
